My story

Running Track and Field at Pacific Lutheran University, I learned that perseverance developed through overcoming physical discomfort and mental fatigue during runs can mirror and prepare individuals for life’s broader challenges, reinforcing a growth mindset and a stronger sense of self-efficacy.

I want to give back to the next generation of kids by sponsoring them with brand new running shoes. A new pair of running shoes means motivation to run with style and comfort.

Over the past 10 years, core team sports participation among kids ages 6-17 has declined by 5%. With the development of technology, younger kids and adults are heavily distracted by mobile devices and video games. The average screen time in the United States is 7 hours 3 minutes per day – 7 minutes more than the global average

We need to bring back daily movement and group activity for the younger generation to grow properly
